Publishing volume does not buy visibility here, because ranking runs on how verified readers respond, not on how much gets posted. Flooding the platform accomplishes nothing.
Your subscription is protected
The month you pay for sits in escrow and releases to the writer as they publish. If they go quiet, the rest comes back to you automatically. No cancellation call.
No advertising
None. Not native, not sponsored, not an ad network in the footer. If a writer takes a sponsorship, the disclosure is attached to the piece and cannot be removed.

Not a description of the ranking, the ranking itself, published. If you think it is wrong you can point at the specific part you disagree with.
The thing that decides what you see is other readers.
On most platforms, what reaches you is decided by an algorithm optimising for time spent, weighted heavily by how many followers a writer already has. That is why the same names keep appearing and why good writing from unknown people never surfaces.
Here the inputs are simple enough to list, and short enough to check.

Your opinion counts once, and it counts the same as everyone's.
You can rate a piece only if you actually read it, and only if you have verified once that you are a real person. No amount of money, tenure or followers gives anyone more weight than you have.
Instead of stars, you are shown two pieces you have both read and asked which was better. It takes a second, and unlike a five star scale it cannot drift upward until it means nothing.
Mark the line that got you. It goes somewhere.
Highlights are the lightest thing a reader can do and one of the most useful. The writer sees exactly which passages resonated. Other readers see where a piece is at its strongest.
There is no clap counter, no reaction bar, nothing you can press twenty times. One highlight from someone who finished the piece is worth more than any of it.
Find someone early and share in what they earn.
If you back a piece before it is widely read and readers arrive through you, you take a share of what those readers pay the writer. If nothing comes of it, your stake unlocks and you keep it.
Your backing weight is capped and identical to every other verified reader's, so nobody can buy the front page. It is a way of pointing at good writing that has consequences, which is the only way pointing ever means anything.

What this does not do.
- It does not detect machine written text. Nothing does, reliably. A verified person can paste anything they like. What verification stops is the thing that actually causes the flood: one operator running a thousand accounts. That is a volume business, and one person one account ends it.
- It does not guarantee quality. A real person can write something bad. Ratings from other readers are how the good work rises, and that takes readers, which takes time.
- It does not hide who you subscribe to from the writer. They know they have a subscriber, because that is how paying someone works.
